Education
BS Engineering and Design - Western Washington University
I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Design. I started working with Foam Creations in 2006, where I created injection molded foam products for OEM customers, such as spa pillows, toys, and sporting goods. In this role, I honed my ability to engineer, and 3D model accurate, real-world scale tooling files for mass production. During my tenure with Foam Creations, Crocs bought the company. Working for Crocs, I created products in the categories of baby, mobile phone cases, notebook cases, and protective sports equipment. In 2011, I started an independent design consultancy to meet the interest and high demand for molded foam products. I worked with three of the top foam manufacturers in the US and helped their clients design and engineer new products for molded foam manufacturing. The same year, I began working with Platform, a creative marketing agency, where I used 3D design and rendering to bring new products and retail experiences to life, working with clients such as Nike, Starbucks, and Coca-Cola.
